Mint City Singers is a community-based vocal music ensemble for singers from Clinton County and its surrounding communities. It is designed for people who love to perform a wide variety of choral music and provides individuals the opportunity to enrich their lives and our community through group singing. MEET OUR DIRECTOR
Steven Easterling is an Elementary Music teacher in the Laingsburg Schools. He holds a BA in vocal performance from UM, post BA teacher certification from Michigan State University, and a Master of Music Education from Central Michigan University. He also is the director of the Laingsburg Community Singers, who made their debut at Carnegie Hall this past February.
MEET OUR ACCOMPANIST
Jeff Richards was born and raised in St. Johns where he began studying piano at the age of ten with Diantha Witteveen. He then went on to study with Jean Hull and Deborah Moriarty at Michigan State University . After spending several years accompanying groups in Chicago, he now serves as the Music Director at St. Joseph Parish in St. Johns, also serving Saint Martha Parish in Okemos.
