Concert in the Park
Music is the voice of the soul.
ST. JOHNS CONCERT IN THE PARK SERIES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED!
With the new state guidelines that went into effect today, July 31st, a decision was made to temporarily suspend our popular “Concert in the Park” series. We have been able to safely host 250 people over the past 5 weeks and don’t see how we can cut our attendance level down to just 100 people. We are therefore canceling concerts for the next 3 weeks on August 5, 12 & 19, hopefully opening again on August 26, extending our series into September this year. Please continue to check the William E. Tennant Performance Shell FaceBook Page, the Clinton County Arts Council and City of St. Johns websites for updated information.
There’s no better way to savor a summer night than spending a warm evening outdoors for a concert in the park. Sponsored jointly by the Clinton County Arts Council and the City of St. Johns, our “Concert in the Park” series begins in mid-June each summer and runs for twelve weeks.
Concerts are held every Wednesday evening, rain or shine, at 7:00 p.m. in the beautiful Performance Shell in St. Johns City Park. Concerts are FREE of charge, although donations are graciously accepted.
