Michelle Hill
Accountant
I’m on the CCAC Board to… give back to the local arts community. By contributing, I hope to encourage outreach and education of the arts locally.
My arts background includes… being a retired CPA who most recently was Development Director for a local non-profit. I was responsible for grant writing, fundraising and electronic media. Before moving to Michigan, I was the Associate General Manager of Young Victorian Theatre Company (Baltimore, MD’s premier Gilbert & Sullivan company), focusing on administration and marketing. Currently I serve as the Secretary of Young Vic’s Board of Directors. Locally, I am Vice-President of the Evolve Theatrics Board (based in Lansing). I have a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and an MBA in accounting from Morgan State University. I have performed with several theatre groups in the area, including Homegrown Productions in St. Johns.
Outside of the arts, I enjoy… scrapbooking and traveling. I am active at my church doing event planning, bookkeeping and managing its technology. I have five kids and four grandkids.
