Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC) is celebrating the re-opening of the St. Johns Depot on Sunday, July 13, 1:00 – 4:00 PM. It is being transformed into the Clinton Northern Railway Museum – a dynamic place for children of all ages to operate model trains and for everyone to re-connect with the railroad history of Clinton County by viewing numerous railroad artifacts and walking through the two historic railcars outside the Depot.

Along with the model trains and railroad memorabilia, the celebration will feature intriguing metal sculptures by Webberville artist Douglas Thayer, bluegrass music and refreshments. There is no charge – everyone is invited to join the fun!

Unlike CCAC’s typical First Sunday events, this one is happening on the second Sunday (July 13); instead of running from 1:00 – 3:00 it will run from 1:00 – 4:00 PM; and instead of being at the CCAC Art Gallery on North Clinton Avenue, it will be at the Depot at 107 East Railroad St. in St. Johns.
